Symposia was started in 2026 as a humble online journal made by three college students with their personal funds. We built it because we believed high schoolers deserved a national stage for classical scholarship, and because we wanted to prove that classics still hold value in today’s world. With your submission fee, we hope to further this into future endeavors, such as print volumes, more essay categories, and fee waivers for financially burdened students.
